Today's Word
Word of the Day: Do we trust God?
It's natural to wonder why, even when we trust in God, anxiety can still enter into our thoughts. Trusting in God offers us peace and tranquility, and yet we often find ourselves holding back, not fully trusting in God. In the Bible, we read words of faith and comfort provided to soothe our hearts. Despite life's storms, there's peace available that surpasses all understanding and that can anchor us safely.
6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6-7
In this verse, God reassures us that we can safely leave worries behind, and bring everything to Him through prayer. He shows us that we are not alone in our struggles and challenges. When we surrender our lives to God in prayer, He gives us a peace that surpasses everything.
Anxiety is not a sin, however, how we respond to anxiety can lead to sinful behavior if we are not careful. Anxiety can overwhelm us, and ruin us, so we need to address the root causes of anxiety, cultivate trust in God, and seek His peace in every situation. The first step is to approach God in prayer. When we talk to God, and share our fears, hopes, and needs He listens to us and calms us with His loving presence.
Thank Him, even in difficulties, for it helps us see His blessings even in tough situations.
The peace that God gives us does not depend on our circumstances. It is a peace that fills our hearts and minds, guarding us from fear. This peace goes beyond what the physical world can offer us, it appears contrary to what the world values, but it is a priceless gift that strengthens us and helps us face life's uncertainties.
So, when we feel anxious, we should remember this verse and trust in God, talk to Him in prayer, and let His peace fill our hearts. He is always ready to listen to us and take care of us.

Yesterday's Word
Word of the Day: Receive God's blessing at work
23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
Colossians 3:23-24
The work God gives you is a blessing. Remember that many people don't even have a job. Some jobs may be very tiring or poorly paid, and God doesn't like this; He looks at injustice with sadness. The same chapter of Colossians says that those who commit injustice will receive the injustice they commit. No one will go unpunished.
However, one thing is certain: whatever your job, you should do it willingly, as for the Lord. Keeping this in mind will change your perspective. Instead of seeing your work as an unbearable burden, you will see it as a wonderful opportunity to serve God.
God wants to help you so that you can sustain yourself and do a good job. Pray to God, and talk to Him from the heart about your work. If you are unemployed, ask Him to give you a good job. If your work situation is challenging, pray for God to grant you strength and patience until you find a new job.
If your work situation is great and you are happy with your job, thank God for this great blessing and glorify Him in the way you work.
And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Colossians 3:17
Receive God's blessing in your life this morning.
Day Before Yesterday's Word
Word of the Day: An invitation and A Challenge
God extends an invitation and a challenge to all who love Him.
The Invitation
Come and learn more about the love of God! God loves you so much and he desires to have a deeper relationship with you, one where he will bless you abundantly.
May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and Christ’s perseverance.
2 Thessalonians 3:5
9 “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. 10 If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love.
12 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.John 15:9-10,12
So how does God love us? How does it feel to be loved by God?
There are five features of God's love that we can experience from him today:
-
It is unconditional: God's love is not based on what we do or how we behave; it is given to everyone regardless of their worthiness or behavior.
-
It is selfless: God's love is sacrificial and self-giving, evident in the death of Jesus. It seeks the well-being of others, at great personal cost.
-
It is Eternal: God's love will never end. It does not diminish or fluctuate based on what we do or say but remains constant throughout all times and circumstances.
-
It is inclusive: God's love is a gift for all people, without discrimination or exclusion. He offers it to every individual, regardless of their race, sex, ethnicity, nationality, or background.
-
It is redemptive: God's love has the ultimate goal of reconciling humanity to Himself. This is the foundation of God's plan; to save the world through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
The Challenge
And this is the challenge: it's time to be fruitful! God wants to help you mature and be transformed so that you bear much fruit. The goal of this is to glorify God. By living in a relationship with Christ and producing spiritual fruit, we can show how much we love God, through bringing him all the honor and praise.
5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. 7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 8 This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.
John 15:5-8
But it is a challenge, there is a warning in this passage, and the consequence of leaving Jesus' side is that we become outcasts.
